Selling a Tempo in Ballito
The fleet cart that replaced the Precedent, so most Tempos come to us after a few seasons at a golf club. Lithium-equipped Tempos are excellent value. We have a showroom in Ballito. Zimbali, Simbithi, Brettenwood, Elaleni and Palm Lakes carts can often be collected the same day.
Club Car's aluminium chassis is a genuine advantage in Ballito: there's no frame rust to price in, so a coastal Club Car usually beats a steel-framed cart of the same age. We still check the battery tray and cables for salt, but the bones are almost always sound.
Plenty of Ballito carts belong to owners who live elsewhere. That's no problem: the whole process — photos, offer, signing, payment — happens on your phone, and we arrange the collection with whoever holds the keys. Just tell us in the form who to phone on the day.
What a Tempo is worth in Ballito
A clean Club Car Tempo typically sells privately for R40 000 – R150 000 in KwaZulu-Natal (updated 2026-09-01). The specifics we look at on a Tempo:
- Fleet Tempos have hours on them — condition of the seat, floor mat and body tells us more than the year.
- Lithium Tempos (ERIC charging system) are worth a clear premium over lead-acid.
- A single-owner private Tempo with a rear seat kit is a rare, well-paid find.

How quickly can you collect a Tempo in Ballito?
Usually same-day to 1 week of accepting. Our Ballito showroom covers Durban, the North Coast and the South Coast. Ballito collections are usually booked within a few days of accepting — often same-day or next-day close to Ballito.
Do you buy golf carts that aren't running?
We do. Non-runners are a big part of what we buy around Ballito, because we refurbish and resell carts ourselves. A cart with a tired lead-acid pack is still worth real money to us — the offer just allows for the new pack.
Is the offer really free, and do I have to accept it?
Yes and no. The offer is free and there's no obligation at all — it's a firm number, valid for seven days, and you can accept, counter or walk away. We'd rather you took our number to compare than felt pressured.
What do I need on the day of collection?
Your ID, the charger and keys, and the cart where we can load it. We check that it matches your photos, sign off the sale agreement you already signed on your phone, and pay by EFT before we drive away. If the cart lives behind a gate, let security know we're coming or send us a visitor code with your booking.
