Selling a golf cart in Fourways: how it works
Selling a golf cart in Fourways to WeBuyCarts takes three steps. Answer a few questions and upload five or six phone photos (about three minutes). A real buyer values it and sends a written offer within 24 hours, valid for seven days. Accept online, sign on your phone, choose a collection slot — we load it and pay by EFT before we drive away.
Our Gauteng team is in the Fourways area every week — collections are normally booked within seven days of the offer being accepted. We collect from Dainfern, Steyn City, Fourways Gardens, Cedar Lakes and Broadacres.
On the golf estates around Fourways, a cart is transport, not a toy — the school run, the clubhouse, the beach gate. That keeps demand high, and it means we can usually resell a good Fourways cart within the same golf estate, which is why our offers here are strong. Golf estate rules on speed, lights and roadworthiness matter too: a cart that already meets them is worth more.
In a city the size of Fourways the logistics are the easy part: we're in the area often, we drive our own transport and we don't need you to move the cart anywhere. Pick a two-hour window in the booking step and we'll be there.
Golf cart prices in Fourways (2026)
Across Fourways the spread is wide — roughly R40 000 – R180 000 — because battery type, seats and brand matter more than the badge on the front. Below are the bands we see most; send photos and we'll tell you exactly where yours sits.
The things that move a Fourways cart up or down the range are the same everywhere: battery age and type, brand (Club Car and Yamaha hold value best), seats and lift, hours and condition, and whether the charger, keys and paperwork are all there.
- Mainstream lead-acid (2013–2019): R40 000 – R75 000 (e.g. Club Car Precedent, E-Z-GO RXV, Yamaha Drive)
- Premium lithium 4-seater (2019+): R85 000 – R150 000 (e.g. Club Car Onward / Tempo, E-Z-GO RXV ELiTE, Yamaha Drive2)
- 6-seater / lifted / street kit: R90 000 – R180 000 (e.g. Any brand, 4+2 rear seat, lift kit, lights) — highest demand on estates

Questions sellers ask
How quickly can you collect a golf cart in Fourways?
Usually within 7 days of accepting the offer. Our Gauteng team is in the Fourways area every week — collections are normally booked within seven days of the offer being accepted. You choose a two-hour window that suits you and we come to your home, golf estate or club with our own transport.
What are golf carts selling for in Fourways?
Roughly R40 000 – R180 000 for most private carts in Gauteng, with lithium four- and six-seaters at the top. Send photos and we'll price yours exactly, in writing, within 24 hours.
Do you collect from golf estates around Fourways?
Yes — Dainfern, Steyn City, Fourways Gardens, Cedar Lakes and the rest. Let the gate know we're coming or send us a visitor code with your booking; our drivers are used to golf estate procedures.
Do you buy golf carts that aren't running?
We do. Non-runners are a big part of what we buy around Fourways, because we refurbish and resell carts ourselves. A cart with a tired lead-acid pack is still worth real money to us — the offer just allows for the new pack.
Is the offer really free, and do I have to accept it?
Yes and no. The offer is free and there's no obligation at all — it's a firm number, valid for seven days, and you can accept, counter or walk away. We'd rather you took our number to compare than felt pressured.
What do I need on the day of collection?
Your ID, the charger and keys, and the cart where we can load it. We check that it matches your photos, sign off the sale agreement you already signed on your phone, and pay by EFT before we drive away. If the cart lives behind a gate, let security know we're coming or send us a visitor code with your booking.
