Club Car Tempo owners in George
The fleet cart that replaced the Precedent, so most Tempos come to us after a few seasons at a golf club. Lithium-equipped Tempos are excellent value. Home of Fancourt and the Garden Route's biggest golf-cart market. Our head office is here, so George collections are usually same-day or next-day.
A clean Club Car in George rarely stays with us long; the demand is there, and our offer reflects it.
A lot of the carts we buy in George come from retirement villages and downsizing owners: low hours, well looked after, often with the original charger and manual. Those are exactly the carts that fetch the top of our range, and we handle everything — the paperwork, the collection, the payment — so nobody has to organise a trailer.
What a Tempo is worth in George
A clean Club Car Tempo typically sells privately for R40 000 – R150 000 in Western Cape (updated 2026-09-01). The specifics we look at on a Tempo:
- Fleet Tempos have hours on them — condition of the seat, floor mat and body tells us more than the year.
- Lithium Tempos (ERIC charging system) are worth a clear premium over lead-acid.
- A single-owner private Tempo with a rear seat kit is a rare, well-paid find.

Do you buy golf carts that aren't running?
Yes. Dead batteries, a faulty charger, a controller fault, a cart that has stood for two years — we buy all of them. The offer simply reflects the repair cost. Tell us what's wrong in the form and photograph the battery pack; that's usually all we need.
Is the offer really free, and do I have to accept it?
Yes and no. The offer is free and there's no obligation at all — it's a firm number, valid for seven days, and you can accept, counter or walk away. We'd rather you took our number to compare than felt pressured.
What do I need on the day of collection?
Your ID, the charger and keys, and the cart where we can load it. We check that it matches your photos, sign off the sale agreement you already signed on your phone, and pay by EFT before we drive away. If the cart lives behind a gate, let security know we're coming or send us a visitor code with your booking.
