Selling an Onward in Langebaan
Club Car's factory-built personal cart: lifted or non-lifted, two to six seats, lead-acid or Samsung SDI lithium. Onwards hold their value better than anything else we buy. Langebaan Country Estate, Club Mykonos and Paradise Beach carts are usually lightly used holiday units — bring us the low-hour ones.
Club Car's aluminium chassis is a genuine advantage in Langebaan: there's no frame rust to price in, so a coastal Club Car usually beats a steel-framed cart of the same age. We still check the battery tray and cables for salt, but the bones are almost always sound.
Plenty of Langebaan carts belong to owners who live elsewhere. That's no problem: the whole process — photos, offer, signing, payment — happens on your phone, and we arrange the collection with whoever holds the keys. Just tell us in the form who to phone on the day.
What an Onward is worth in Langebaan
A clean Club Car Onward typically sells privately for R85 000 – R180 000 in Western Cape (updated 2026-09-01). The specifics we look at on an Onward:
- Factory lithium (the Samsung pack) is the single biggest value driver — it can be worth a third more than the same cart on lead-acid.
- The HP (high-performance) motor option and the lifted six-seater body are in the strongest demand.
- Check the touchscreen or LED dash, the lights and the sound bar — Onward extras are expensive to replace.
- Low-hour estate carts from 2020 onward fetch our top offers.

Questions sellers ask
How much is a Club Car Onward worth in Langebaan?
Typically R85 000 – R180 000 in Western Cape, depending on year, power (lead-acid or lithium), seats and condition. Factory lithium (the Samsung pack) is the single biggest value driver — it can be worth a third more than the same cart on lead-acid. Send photos for an exact written offer within 24 hours.
How quickly can you collect an Onward in Langebaan?
Usually within a week of accepting. We collect across the Cape every week; Langebaan collections are normally booked within a week of the offer being accepted.
Do you buy golf carts that aren't running?
We do. Non-runners are a big part of what we buy around Langebaan, because we refurbish and resell carts ourselves. A cart with a tired lead-acid pack is still worth real money to us — the offer just allows for the new pack.
Is the offer really free, and do I have to accept it?
Yes and no. The offer is free and there's no obligation at all — it's a firm number, valid for seven days, and you can accept, counter or walk away. We'd rather you took our number to compare than felt pressured.
What do I need on the day of collection?
Your ID, the charger and keys, and the cart where we can load it. We check that it matches your photos, sign off the sale agreement you already signed on your phone, and pay by EFT before we drive away. If the cart lives behind a gate, let security know we're coming or send us a visitor code with your booking.
