Reebok & Tergniet: what to expect
Beach-village carts like the ones at Reebok & Tergniet are usually low-hours but hard on batteries and steel parts. Photos of the battery pack and the underside let us price for that fairly, and the collection is arranged around whoever holds the keys.
Selling a cart in Reebok & Tergniet to WeBuyCarts takes three steps. Answer a few questions and upload five or six phone photos (about three minutes). A real buyer values it and sends a written offer within 24 hours, valid for seven days. Accept online, sign on your phone, choose a collection slot — we load it and pay by EFT before we drive away.
Reebok & Tergniet is on our home patch: our George office runs the Garden Route and Klein Karoo daily, and most collections here are done within a couple of working days of the offer being accepted.
Golf cart values in Reebok & Tergniet
Most private carts we buy in Reebok & Tergniet fall between R40 000 – R180 000, with lithium four- and six-seaters at the top. These are typical private-sale bands (updated 2026-09-01); the offer we send is the exact figure we'll pay.
Coastal carts work harder than their hours suggest: sea air attacks battery terminals, chassis rails and brake cables. We buy plenty of Reebok & Tergniet carts with surface rust — we simply price the clean-up into the offer. If yours has an aluminium chassis (Club Car) or a recent lithium pack, say so; both carry a real premium on the coast.
Most of the carts we buy around Reebok & Tergniet come off golf estates, and most of them go straight back onto one. That's the whole reason we can pay well here: there is always a family on the next street who needs a four-seater. Tell us which golf estate the cart lives on and whether it meets the golf estate's speed and lighting rules — it helps us price it exactly.
- Mainstream lead-acid (2013–2019): R40 000 – R75 000 (e.g. Club Car Precedent, E-Z-GO RXV, Yamaha Drive)
- Premium lithium 4-seater (2019+): R85 000 – R150 000 (e.g. Club Car Onward / Tempo, E-Z-GO RXV ELiTE, Yamaha Drive2)
- 6-seater / lifted / street kit: R90 000 – R180 000 (e.g. Any brand, 4+2 rear seat, lift kit, lights) — highest demand on estates
What we look at in your photos
Six phone photos are enough — front, back, both sides, the seats and the battery pack. From those we can see almost everything that sets the price:
- Extras — rear flip seat, lights, lift kit, sound system, enclosure. Tidy factory-style extras add real value.
- Battery type and age — the single biggest factor. A dated invoice or a photo of the date stamp helps.
- Body, seats and canopy — cracks, sun damage and torn seats all cost money to put right.
- Charger, keys and manual — a working charger and both keys make the cart easier to resell, and our offer stronger.

Questions sellers ask
Do I need to arrange access for you at Reebok & Tergniet?
No — we come to your home. If the cart is in a complex or behind a gate, a visitor code or a note at the gate is all we need.
How soon can you collect in Reebok & Tergniet?
Usually 1–3 working days of accepting. Reebok & Tergniet is on our home patch: our George office runs the Garden Route and Klein Karoo daily, and most collections here are done within a couple of working days of the offer being accepted.
Do you buy golf carts that aren't running?
We do. Non-runners are a big part of what we buy around Reebok & Tergniet, because we refurbish and resell carts ourselves. A cart with a tired lead-acid pack is still worth real money to us — the offer just allows for the new pack.
Is the offer really free, and do I have to accept it?
Yes and no. The offer is free and there's no obligation at all — it's a firm number, valid for seven days, and you can accept, counter or walk away. We'd rather you took our number to compare than felt pressured.
What do I need on the day of collection?
Your ID, the charger and keys, and the cart where we can load it. We check that it matches your photos, sign off the sale agreement you already signed on your phone, and pay by EFT before we drive away. If the cart lives behind a gate, let security know we're coming or send us a visitor code with your booking.
