How selling in Oslo Beach works
Beach-village carts like the ones at Oslo Beach are usually low-hours but hard on batteries and steel parts. Photos of the battery pack and the underside let us price for that fairly, and the collection is arranged around whoever holds the keys.
The process is the same wherever you are: photos and a few details from your phone, a written offer within 24 hours, then accept, sign and book a collection slot online. We arrive with our own transport and pay by EFT before we drive away. No viewings, no time-wasters, no transport to arrange.
Our Ballito showroom covers Durban, the North Coast and the South Coast. Oslo Beach collections are usually booked within a few days of accepting — often same-day or next-day close to Ballito.
What we pay in Oslo Beach
Most private carts we buy in Oslo Beach fall between R40 000 – R180 000, with lithium four- and six-seaters at the top. These are typical private-sale bands (updated 2026-09-01); the offer we send is the exact figure we'll pay.
Near the sea, condition beats age. A five-year-old cart that has lived in a garage in Oslo Beach will out-price a two-year-old one that has stood outside in the salt. We look at the battery tray, the frame rails and the brake cables in your photos, and we're honest about what the sea has done.
A lot of the carts we buy in Oslo Beach come from retirement villages and downsizing owners: low hours, well looked after, often with the original charger and manual. Those are exactly the carts that fetch the top of our range, and we handle everything — the paperwork, the collection, the payment — so nobody has to organise a trailer.
- Mainstream lead-acid (2013–2019): R40 000 – R75 000 (e.g. Club Car Precedent, E-Z-GO RXV, Yamaha Drive)
- Premium lithium 4-seater (2019+): R85 000 – R150 000 (e.g. Club Car Onward / Tempo, E-Z-GO RXV ELiTE, Yamaha Drive2)
- 6-seater / lifted / street kit: R90 000 – R180 000 (e.g. Any brand, 4+2 rear seat, lift kit, lights) — highest demand on estates
What we look at in your photos
Six phone photos are enough — front, back, both sides, the seats and the battery pack. From those we can see almost everything that sets the price:
- Extras — rear flip seat, lights, lift kit, sound system, enclosure. Tidy factory-style extras add real value.
- Battery type and age — the single biggest factor. A dated invoice or a photo of the date stamp helps.
- Charger, keys and manual — a working charger and both keys make the cart easier to resell, and our offer stronger.
- Tyres, brakes and steering — we look at tread, brake feel and play in the steering.

Questions sellers ask
Do I need to arrange access for you at Oslo Beach?
No — we come to your home. If the cart is in a complex or behind a gate, a visitor code or a note at the gate is all we need.
How soon can you collect in Oslo Beach?
Usually same-day to 1 week of accepting. Our Ballito showroom covers Durban, the North Coast and the South Coast. Oslo Beach collections are usually booked within a few days of accepting — often same-day or next-day close to Ballito.
Do you buy golf carts that aren't running?
Yes. Dead batteries, a faulty charger, a controller fault, a cart that has stood for two years — we buy all of them. The offer simply reflects the repair cost. Tell us what's wrong in the form and photograph the battery pack; that's usually all we need.
Is the offer really free, and do I have to accept it?
Yes and no. The offer is free and there's no obligation at all — it's a firm number, valid for seven days, and you can accept, counter or walk away. We'd rather you took our number to compare than felt pressured.
What do I need on the day of collection?
Your ID, the charger and keys, and the cart where we can load it. We check that it matches your photos, sign off the sale agreement you already signed on your phone, and pay by EFT before we drive away. If the cart lives behind a gate, let security know we're coming or send us a visitor code with your booking.
