E-Z-GO carts in Pretoria
The best-selling golf cart in the world. The RXV platform (AC drive, 2008+) outperforms the older TXT on resale; ELiTE lithium versions carry a premium. Waterkloof, Brooklyn, Lynnwood and the Pretoria Country Club side of town — we buy across Tshwane.
Collections across Pretoria are routine for us — gated complexes, golf estates, storage units, the lot. We book a two-hour window that suits you and phone ahead. If the cart lives somewhere with restricted access, a visitor code or a note at the gate is all we need.
What we pay for E-Z-GOs in Pretoria
Used E-Z-GOs in Gauteng typically sell for R20 000 – R180 000 (private-sale bands, updated 2026-09-01). For E-Z-GO specifically, these are the things that move the number:
- RXV (2008+) with AC motor is worth noticeably more than a TXT of the same year.
- TXT is the workhorse — huge parts supply, but steel frames can rust in coastal areas.
- Express S4/S6 lifted models are popular in estates and communities — strong demand.
- ELiTE (Samsung lithium) carts from 2018 onward fetch a premium over lead-acid.
- Older lead-acid 2-seater (2005–2012): R20 000 – R45 000 (e.g. Club Car DS / Precedent, E-Z-GO TXT, Yamaha G22) — battery age decides it
- Mainstream lead-acid (2013–2019): R40 000 – R75 000 (e.g. Club Car Precedent, E-Z-GO RXV, Yamaha Drive)

Questions sellers ask
How much is an E-Z-GO golf cart worth in Pretoria?
Typically R20 000 – R180 000 in Gauteng, depending on the model, year, battery and condition. RXV (2008+) with AC motor is worth noticeably more than a TXT of the same year. Send photos and we'll price yours exactly, in writing, within 24 hours.
How quickly can you collect an E-Z-GO in Pretoria?
Usually within 7 days of accepting. Pretoria is on our weekly Gauteng run; we confirm a collection date with the offer, usually inside a week.
Do you buy E-Z-GOs that need batteries?
Yes — we refurbish carts, so an E-Z-GO with a tired pack is still worth real money. The offer allows for the new pack; lithium E-Z-GOs fetch a premium.
Do you buy golf carts that aren't running?
We do. Non-runners are a big part of what we buy around Pretoria, because we refurbish and resell carts ourselves. A cart with a tired lead-acid pack is still worth real money to us — the offer just allows for the new pack.
Is the offer really free, and do I have to accept it?
Yes and no. The offer is free and there's no obligation at all — it's a firm number, valid for seven days, and you can accept, counter or walk away. We'd rather you took our number to compare than felt pressured.
What do I need on the day of collection?
Your ID, the charger and keys, and the cart where we can load it. We check that it matches your photos, sign off the sale agreement you already signed on your phone, and pay by EFT before we drive away. If the cart lives behind a gate, let security know we're coming or send us a visitor code with your booking.
