Selling a golf cart in Kleinkrantz
Kleinkrantz carts are mostly holiday and retirement runabouts: low hours, some salt, batteries that have sometimes stood flat over winter. We're used to collecting from second homes — a neighbour or caretaker with the keys is all we need on the day.
Here's how it works: you send photos and answer a short form; we reply with a firm written offer within 24 hours; if you're happy, you accept and sign on your phone and pick a two-hour collection window. On the day we check the cart matches the photos, load it, and pay by EFT before we drive away.
Kleinkrantz is on our home patch: our George office runs the Garden Route and Klein Karoo daily, and most collections here are done within a couple of working days of the offer being accepted.
What Kleinkrantz carts are worth
Most private carts we buy in Kleinkrantz fall between R40 000 – R180 000, with lithium four- and six-seaters at the top. These are typical private-sale bands (updated 2026-09-01); the offer we send is the exact figure we'll pay.
Coastal carts work harder than their hours suggest: sea air attacks battery terminals, chassis rails and brake cables. We buy plenty of Kleinkrantz carts with surface rust — we simply price the clean-up into the offer. If yours has an aluminium chassis (Club Car) or a recent lithium pack, say so; both carry a real premium on the coast.
Holiday-home carts are a special case: they sit for months, then get used hard for three weeks. Batteries left flat over winter are the usual casualty. We're used to collections from second homes in Kleinkrantz — we can coordinate with a neighbour, a caretaker or the golf estate office, and you sign and get paid from wherever you happen to be.
- Mainstream lead-acid (2013–2019): R40 000 – R75 000 (e.g. Club Car Precedent, E-Z-GO RXV, Yamaha Drive)
- Premium lithium 4-seater (2019+): R85 000 – R150 000 (e.g. Club Car Onward / Tempo, E-Z-GO RXV ELiTE, Yamaha Drive2)
- 6-seater / lifted / street kit: R90 000 – R180 000 (e.g. Any brand, 4+2 rear seat, lift kit, lights) — highest demand on estates
What we look at in your photos
Six phone photos are enough — front, back, both sides, the seats and the battery pack. From those we can see almost everything that sets the price:
- Battery type and age — the single biggest factor. A dated invoice or a photo of the date stamp helps.
- Charger, keys and manual — a working charger and both keys make the cart easier to resell, and our offer stronger.
- Extras — rear flip seat, lights, lift kit, sound system, enclosure. Tidy factory-style extras add real value.
- Tyres, brakes and steering — we look at tread, brake feel and play in the steering.

Questions sellers ask
Do I need to arrange access for you at Kleinkrantz?
No — we come to your home. If the cart is in a complex or behind a gate, a visitor code or a note at the gate is all we need.
How soon can you collect in Kleinkrantz?
Usually 1–3 working days of accepting. Kleinkrantz is on our home patch: our George office runs the Garden Route and Klein Karoo daily, and most collections here are done within a couple of working days of the offer being accepted.
Do you buy golf carts that aren't running?
Yes. Dead batteries, a faulty charger, a controller fault, a cart that has stood for two years — we buy all of them. The offer simply reflects the repair cost. Tell us what's wrong in the form and photograph the battery pack; that's usually all we need.
Is the offer really free, and do I have to accept it?
Yes and no. The offer is free and there's no obligation at all — it's a firm number, valid for seven days, and you can accept, counter or walk away. We'd rather you took our number to compare than felt pressured.
What do I need on the day of collection?
Your ID, the charger and keys, and the cart where we can load it. We check that it matches your photos, sign off the sale agreement you already signed on your phone, and pay by EFT before we drive away. If the cart lives behind a gate, let security know we're coming or send us a visitor code with your booking.
