Marshell carts in Klerksdorp
Chinese-built fleet and estate carts. We buy them on condition and battery health. Klerksdorp Golf Club and the Matlosana farms — utility and private carts.
Klerksdorp's heat is kinder to bodywork than the coast is, but it is hard on batteries: a lead-acid pack that lives in a hot garage ages faster, and dust gets into bearings and controllers. Tell us the battery age honestly and send a photo of the pack — it is the single biggest factor in the price here.
What we pay for Marshells in Klerksdorp
Used Marshells in North West typically sell for R20 000 – R180 000 (private-sale bands, updated 2026-09-01). For Marshell specifically, these are the things that move the number:
- Priced mainly on battery type and age, charger condition and bodywork.
- Older lead-acid 2-seater (2005–2012): R20 000 – R45 000 (e.g. Club Car DS / Precedent, E-Z-GO TXT, Yamaha G22) — battery age decides it
- Lithium 2- or 4-seater (2020+): R55 000 – R110 000 (e.g. Excar, HDK, LVTong, ICON, Evolution) — factory lithium holds value

Questions sellers ask
How much is a Marshell golf cart worth in Klerksdorp?
Typically R20 000 – R180 000 in North West, depending on the model, year, battery and condition. Priced mainly on battery type and age, charger condition and bodywork. Send photos and we'll price yours exactly, in writing, within 24 hours.
How quickly can you collect a Marshell in Klerksdorp?
Usually 7–14 days of accepting. For North West we schedule collection with our own transport partners — usually within seven to fourteen days of you accepting — and we confirm the date with your offer.
Do you buy Marshells that need batteries?
Yes — we refurbish carts, so a Marshell with a tired pack is still worth real money. The offer allows for the new pack; lithium Marshells fetch a premium.
Do you buy golf carts that aren't running?
We do. Non-runners are a big part of what we buy around Klerksdorp, because we refurbish and resell carts ourselves. A cart with a tired lead-acid pack is still worth real money to us — the offer just allows for the new pack.
Is the offer really free, and do I have to accept it?
Yes and no. The offer is free and there's no obligation at all — it's a firm number, valid for seven days, and you can accept, counter or walk away. We'd rather you took our number to compare than felt pressured.
What do I need on the day of collection?
Your ID, the charger and keys, and the cart where we can load it. We check that it matches your photos, sign off the sale agreement you already signed on your phone, and pay by EFT before we drive away. If the cart lives behind a gate, let security know we're coming or send us a visitor code with your booking.
