Selling a Cushman in Zinkwazi
Textron's utility and people-mover line. Valued on hours, load bed condition and battery. Quiet North Coast beach villages with holiday carts, collected from Ballito.
Coastal carts work harder than their hours suggest: sea air attacks battery terminals, chassis rails and brake cables. We buy plenty of Zinkwazi carts with surface rust — we simply price the clean-up into the offer. If yours has an aluminium chassis (Club Car) or a recent lithium pack, say so; both carry a real premium on the coast.
What we pay for Cushmans in Zinkwazi
Used Cushmans in KwaZulu-Natal typically sell for R20 000 – R180 000 (private-sale bands, updated 2026-09-01). For Cushman specifically, these are the things that move the number:
- Utility carts are in steady demand from estates, farms and resorts.
- Older lead-acid 2-seater (2005–2012): R20 000 – R45 000 (e.g. Club Car DS / Precedent, E-Z-GO TXT, Yamaha G22) — battery age decides it
- Mainstream lead-acid (2013–2019): R40 000 – R75 000 (e.g. Club Car Precedent, E-Z-GO RXV, Yamaha Drive)

Typically R20 000 – R180 000 in KwaZulu-Natal, depending on the model, year, battery and condition. Utility carts are in steady demand from estates, farms and resorts. Send photos and we'll price yours exactly, in writing, within 24 hours.
How quickly can you collect a Cushman in Zinkwazi?
Usually same-day to 1 week of accepting. Our Ballito showroom covers Durban, the North Coast and the South Coast. Zinkwazi collections are usually booked within a few days of accepting — often same-day or next-day close to Ballito.
Do you buy Cushmans that need batteries?
Yes — we refurbish carts, so a Cushman with a tired pack is still worth real money. The offer allows for the new pack; lithium Cushmans fetch a premium.
Do you buy golf carts that aren't running?
Yes. Dead batteries, a faulty charger, a controller fault, a cart that has stood for two years — we buy all of them. The offer simply reflects the repair cost. Tell us what's wrong in the form and photograph the battery pack; that's usually all we need.
Is the offer really free, and do I have to accept it?
Yes and no. The offer is free and there's no obligation at all — it's a firm number, valid for seven days, and you can accept, counter or walk away. We'd rather you took our number to compare than felt pressured.
What do I need on the day of collection?
Your ID, the charger and keys, and the cart where we can load it. We check that it matches your photos, sign off the sale agreement you already signed on your phone, and pay by EFT before we drive away. If the cart lives behind a gate, let security know we're coming or send us a visitor code with your booking.
